What kind of diet plan will I follow?
At EmpowerYOU, we don’t believe in “diets.” Our goal is to help you find a way of eating that works for you — one that fits your preferences, health conditions, and day-to-day life. Together, we’ll create a sustainable approach that supports your goals and helps you feel your best.

What about exercise?
Exercise is an important part of overall well-being. We’ll work together to develop an exercise plan that aligns with your lifestyle and abilities. While exercise alone doesn’t typically lead to significant weight loss, it plays a key role in maintaining weight loss and preventing weight regain — as well as improving your mood, energy, and overall health.

Do you prescribe medications?
Yes. When appropriate, medications can be a powerful tool in reaching your health and weight goals. However, they’re just one piece of your journey — we take a comprehensive approach that includes nutrition, lifestyle, mindset, and medical support.

How will I know if I’m having success?
Success looks different for everyone. Most importantly, you’ll notice changes in how you feel — such as improved energy, mood, and confidence. Objectively, we’ll also track progress through measurable improvements in your metabolic markers, including BMI, blood pressure, and lab results.

What is the time commitment?
After your initial consultation, if you choose to continue, you’ll sign a six-month agreement — though it can be cancelled at any time. A six-month commitment is recommended to give your body and mind time to adjust and to see meaningful results.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Possibly. Eligibility depends on your specific insurance plan and its criteria. Some insurances exclude “membership” services. If needed, we can provide an itemized bill for the services you receive. We recommend checking with your insurance provider beforehand. If services aren’t covered, patients are responsible for payment.
